Labtech Microwave is one of the world's leading manufacturers of complex and demanding microwave metalbacked printed circuit boards and this area of activity is one of Labtech's core competencies with more than 20 years of proven experience supplying a large number of customers spanning the global microwave electronics market sector. Key applications include power amplifiers, tx/rx modules for radio links and millimeter wave components.

Our significant in-house pcb production facility has the ability to satisfy the demand for pre-bonded and post-bonded metalbacked PCBs. Labtech has demonstrated time-after-time that it can work with our customers' specific requirements at the early stages of development and as a result DFM and NPI support is on offer ensuring seamless realisation of new designs into production volumes.

• Pre-bonded metalbacked PCBs produced from a wide range of commercially available PTFE laminates with aluminium, brass and copper backing materials
• Post-bonded metalbacked PCBs where Labtech has the ability to bond machined housings and carriers to PTFE double sided PCBs using conductive and non-conductive adhesives
• Particular expertise at preventing resin flow into MMIC pockets and proven ability to attach several PCBs into machined housing and at different levels within the housing
• Plated through holes from metal carrier to PCB surface and in particular aluminium plating
• End milling, drilling/tapping, assembly of feed-throughs, helicoils, connectors and termination pins
